Police look for 2 men who robbed couple at gunpoint in Redmond

REDMOND, Wash. —

A couple was robbed at gunpoint early Saturday morning in Redmond, police said.

 

According to police, the couple parked their vehicle in the 2500 block of 173rd Place Northeast where they were approached by two armed men with handguns.

 

The couple was held at gunpoint and was robbed of their cash, jewelry and personal items.

 

One of the victims sustained minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

 

Police said the two robbers got into an older two-toned model vehicle, possibly a truck with a canopy or SUV. The vehicle was seen traveling westbound on Northeast 24th Street.

 

Police describe one of the suspects as a black man in his 30s, about 5 feet 11 inches to 6 feet tall, thin build and was wearing a black shirt and pants. The other suspect was described as a black man, about 35 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, thin build and was wearing dark clothing.

 

Anyone with information is asked to call 911 immediately.
