An Amber Alert issued after an 8-month-old baby was taken by his father in Longview has been canceled.

The two were found in Oregon Friday afternoon.

Oregon State Police troopers spotted the 2012 Nissan Altima driven by Ismail Hashem on Interstate 5 near Wilsonville at 1 p.m. Officers pulled him over, and Hashem was taken into custody without incident.

Police said the child was found safe inside the vehicle.

Longview police said there is a restraining order in place preventing Hashem from having any contact with the child.

Police said Hashem took the boy from a babysitter at 9 a.m. Friday. The babysitter called 911.
