BREMERTON, Wash. —

The Fire Marshal is investigating a string of fires that were set at Olympic High School in Bremerton Wednesday night.

Firefighters responding to a call around 10:15 p.m. found a fire in a school van, a fire in a trash bin next to a school building and another fire in a pile of brush in a parking lot, Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue told KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Firefighters said one of the fires sent some smoke into the building, apparently through a nearby broken window, said reporter Rick Price.

The Kitsap County Fire Marshal determined the fires to be arson, Central Kitsap Fire & Rescue said.

Authorities asked anyone with information to call 360-337-4442.
