SPANAWAY, Wash. —
Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man seen in a surveillance photo who stole handguns from a Spanaway pawn shop.
Police said that at 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 30, a man pried his way through a security door and forced his way into the AA Okay Loans & Pawnshop on Pacific Avenue South.
The man entered the pawn shop, smashed a glass display case and stole four semi-automatic handguns before fleeing, investigators said.
The man appears to be white, in his 20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds with a brown goatee and mustache. During the burglary he was seen wearing khaki pants, a green hooded camouflage jacket, a green camouflage baseball hat, black and tan gloves and was carrying a black backpack.
Anyone with information about the burglar’s identity or the crime is asked to call the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office or 911.
