PIERCE COUNTY, Wash. —

Pierce County sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying those responsible for the slayings of Travis Dennis and Jeffrey Poling.

At 8:45 a.m. on Monday, a family member discovered the bodies of the victims inside Dennis’ house in the 9400 block of 176th Street Court East in the Puyallup area, police said.

Both victims had been shot in the head.  There were no signs of forced entry or a struggle.

Investigators said a computer and numerous firearms were missing from Dennis’ home, including several handguns, a shotgun, an assault rifle and a semiautomatic rifle.

Detectives are looking for information on any suspicious persons or vehicles seen near Dennis' home on Sunday night or early Monday.

Tipsters may receive up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of and charges filed against those responsible for the crimes.

Anyone with information is asked to call 253-591-5959.  All callers will remain anonymous.
