BELLEVUE —

A standoff between police and a man believed to have several guns inside his car blocked traffic near where Bellevue-Redmond Road, Northeast 20th Street and 156th Avenue are in Bellevue, the Bellevue Police Department said.

Images from Chopper 7 showed a man emerge from the car with his hands raised around 6:30 p.m. Police took that person into custody.

The man had parked his car in an alleyway, police said, and apparently refused to get out.
