Police received a call late Thursday night that a man jumped off the I-90's East Channel Bridge over Lake Washington and officers found some clothing on the bridge.

Man Apparently Drowns In Lake Washington

A rescue dive team searched under the bridge and along the shore for nearly an hour, but found nothing.

On Thursday, a 30-year-old man swimming with friends in the Green River drowned.

Sheriff's officials say about six adults were swimming at a park near Black Diamond at about 6:30 p.m. when the man disappeared. Witnesses said he got pulled down by the current and wedged under a log.

The body of the man, who was not immediately identified, was recovered Thursday night.

Searchers recovered the body of a man who fell off a pleasure boat into Lake Washington near Kirkland on Tuesday.

Officials warned that strong, cold currents fed by melting Cascade snow was keeping waters dangerously swift and chilly despite the warm weather.
