LACEY, Wash. —

Detectives released a sketch of a man whose remains were found in Lacey in hopes of the public identifying him, said Jim Chamberlain of the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

Two children found a human skull on April 30 near Deerbrush Drive Southeast near the Meadows Elementary School in Lacey. Detectives found more remains that belong to the man when they searched the area, Chamberlain said.

The cause of death if undetermined, but no evidence of a homicide has been found, Chamberlain said.

Based on forensics, the man is approximately 5 feet 9 inches to 6 feet tall and he may have some Latin or Asian ancestry.

Anyone with information on the identity of the man in the sketch should call Det. Dave Haller at 360-786-5279. Callers who wish to remain anonymous should call Crime Stoppers at 360-493-2222.
