The man, who was not immediately identified, was flown to Harborview Medical Center.

Acting on information from witnesses, Jefferson County sheriff's deputies questioned three young men and arrested a fourth in nearby Port Townsend, Undersheriff Ken Sukert said.

A 20-year-old man was booked into the county jail for investigation of assault and burglary. Sukert did not identify him.

The attacker entered the disabled man's apartment shortly before noon Thursday and hit him in the back of the head with some object, Sukert said.

Sources tell KIRO 7 Eyewitness News the object was a baseball bat.

The three questioned teens, ages 17 and 18, are students at Chimacum High School, Sukert said.

Detectives still don't know if the teenagers were directly involved in the assault or merely drove the attacker to the victim's house, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

No motive has been determined.
