Don't Need Seattle Yellow Pages? Today's The Last Day To Opt Out



SEATTLE —

Friday (September 23) is the last day to opt out of receiving the next edition of the Yellow Pages in Seattle.

Residents can opt out online:

Stop Phone Books | Seattle Public Utilities

Most residents receive six phone books every year, weighing in at more than 11 pounds of paper.

Seattle is the first city in the country to create an opt-out system.
