BURIEN, Wash. —

Starbucks is testing video ordering at several Washington drive-thru stores.

StarbucksMelody.com reports that one of the locations that has implemented face-to-face video ordering is at 15838 First Ave. South in Burien.

The video screen is about the size of a large laptop screen.

"I loved the ability to see the person taking my order," Melody Overton said on the site. "It made the whole experience so much friendlier and personable."

According to Overton, Starbucks baristas have always been able to see customers as they order at drive-thru windows.
