Duvall Cabin Burns To Ground

DUVALL, Wash. —

An east King County fire left a man homeless Friday morning after his Duvall-area cabin caught fire and burned to the ground, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

Fire crews said that when they arrived shortly before 3:30 a.m. Friday morning they found a downed power line in front of the house that prevented them from getting closer to the home.

They said the remote location of the house off Snoqualmie Road required four area fire departments to bring water in because there are no fire hydrants in the area.

Once the fire was out, crews secured the area so investigators could begin searching for the cause of the blaze.

A 67-year-old man living in the cabin was able to get out unharmed.
