The quake had a magnitude of 3.7 and was centered seven miles southwest of Bremerton at a depth of about 14 miles, the University of Washington's Department of Earth and Space Sciences reported.

There were no reports of injuries or damage from the quake, which hit at 8:50 p.m.
People reported feeling "a boom" or "a shudder" with several saying their windows rattled.
The quake was felt as far south as Tacoma and Eatonville, as far west as Montesano on the coast and as far east as Issaquah, about 15 miles east of Seattle -- or 35 miles east of the quake.
