Grade Scandal In Seattle School

At a news conference on Thursday, the district announced its investigation involving about 50 students last year and 100 grades.

The district's investigation has found that most of the grade changes were made to allow students to graduate who otherwise didn't have the required 2.0 average. Investigators also found changes made to transcripts to make regular courses look like honors classes.

District officials said watering down the grades hurts all students in the long run. About 100 grades have been changed and the investigation is not over.
