Police Use Stun Gun On Ex-School Board Member

BELLINGHAM, Wash. —

Police used a stun gun on a former school board member who entered a high school classroom and refused to leave on Monday, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

Police said Justin McKay would not identify himself when he walked into a classroom at Ferndale High School and sat down.

Students cleared the room before responding officers used a stun gun when McKay struggled with them, police said.

McKay was taken to a hospital for a mental evaluation.

School officials said they did not know why McKay went to the school.
