Everett Police Arrest 10 In 'John' Sting

EVERETT, Wash. —

Ten people were arrested in a prostitution sting conducted by the Everett Police Department on June 25 in Everett.

Two female undercover officers were used as decoys stationed on both the north and south ends of the city including the 1400 block of Broadway and both the 9100 block and the 11000 block of Evergreen Way, said Sgt. Robert Goetz of the Everett Police Department.

All 10 suspects were charged with prostitution related crimes, Goetz said. They were cited, released, and will appear in court on a later date.

The locations were chosen based upon previous prostitution activities, observations by citizens living in the area and information provided by patrol officers, Goetz said.

Police said there will be additional stings in the next few months.
