FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —
Disturbing surveillance video from the Federal Way Transit Center shows an argument escalate into a fatal shooting.
Merlin Bell is charged with second-degree murder in the Sept. 17 shooting of De'Von Winston-Parks.
Prosecutors said Bell had an altercation with Winston-Parks at the transit center and then shot 19-year-old Winston-Parks at close range.
Video shows Bell, who is much taller than Winston-Parks, lunge toward Winston Park and then flee the scene with a gun in his hand.
Footage showed Winston-Park fall to the ground. He died a few hours later.
Bell was taken into custody minutes after the shooting. He pleaded not guilty and remains jailed on a $1 million bond.
