Two Young Women Killed In Crash

OLYMPIA —

A teenage Kent girl killed by a driver that crossed the median on I-5 north of Centralia early this morning was only weeks away from her 18th birthday.

Two Young Women Killed In Crash

The Oakville woman blamed for causing the deadly crash had marked her 21st birthday last May. She also was killed.

State Trooper Johnny Alexander says the teenager's father had narrowly avoided the collision shortly after midnight while driving a separate vehicle.

He then watched helplessly in his rear view mirror as the same vehicle slammed into his daughter's car. He returned to help her, but Alexander says there was nothing he could do.
