BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. —

Bainbridge Island police said Bradley S. Robinett is a survivalist who's believed to have built wooden shelters in the forest where he has stored stolen items, the Kitsap Sun reported.
Robinett is a strong person of interest in several bank robberies, said Sue Schultz of the Bainbridge Island Police Department.
She said police werent really looking for Robinett, but searching for evidence relating to him. Crews were able to gather more information, but did not recover any money or weapons.
Schultz said police werent expecting to find Robinett.
Some law enforcement personnel were armed with assault rifles, wore body armor and dressed in camouflage fatigues while searching the Grand Forest, the Kitsap Sun said.
Robinett is considered to be armed and dangerous.
Personnel from local police, FBI, ATF, Washington State Patrol and the US Marshall's Service participated in the search.
