SEATTLE —

The FBI has launched an investigation into two Seattle police officers seen on camera stomping on an innocent man. One officer is heard yelling a racial slur at the detained man.

A Seattle Police Department news release said the Office of Professional Accountability will cooperate with any requests that are made by the FBI.

Interim Chief Diaz said he wants the internal investigation to be given priority.

The two employees seen in the video, Shandy Cobane and Lynne Woollum, have been administratively reassigned pending the outcome of the investigation.
