Fire Destroys Bainbridge Island Home

BAINBRIDGE ISLAND, Wash. —

Investigators are searching for the cause of a house fire on Bainbridge Island.

The fire broke out Sunday in the 9,000 square foot home on Agate Point. Two people and a dog got out of the house safely. The fire started at one end of the house and spread quickly through an open attic.

The house sits at the end of a long driveway with no water supply. Crews had to shuttle water from the Clearwater Casino, located 10 minutes away.
