SEATTLE —
Cars spun out on icy West Marginal Way early Monday after a "flash freeze" of roads in south Seattle.
"This morning between 5AM and sunrise, a sort of 'flash freeze' occurred across south Seattle. SDOT used granualar salt and salt brine on slick spots," the Seattle Department of Transportation said on its Facebook page.
A KIRO 7 Eyewitness News crew arrived in time to see a tow truck hooking up a damaged Jeep in the 4800 block of West Marginal Way Southwest.
