Former Husky Softball Coach Files Federal Complaint Against UW

SEATTLE —

A former University of Washington softball coach

--fired after a volunteer team doctor was accused of handing out

drugs to players -- has filed a federal complaint against the

school.

Teresa Wilson filed Friday with the federal

Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The move is the first step

in a possible wrongful termination and discrimination lawsuit

against the U-W.

Wilson was dismissed in December after 13 years with the

university. Her attorney -- Rayla Allison in Minneapolis -- says

she will argue that Wilson was denied due process and treated

unfairly.
