Four Injured When Car Hits Pole, Catches Fire

 

GRANITE FALLS, Wash. —

A car slammed into a pole and caught fire in Granite Falls Friday morning, injuring four people.

The crash happened around 3:15 a.m. along the 4400 block of Robe Menzel Road.

One passenger was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The Washington State Patrol says the 22-year old man suffered burns.

The other four were taken to local hospitals, one in serious condition.

The Snohomish County Sheriff’s office is investigating the cause of the crash.
