Fund-Raiser Held For Family Of Lawyer Hurt In Shooting

SEATTLE —

A fund-raiser was scheduled for Monday night to raise money for the family of a lawyer who was shot outside his Bellevue office last November.

Kevin Jung, 44, is being cared for at a nursing home following a shooting Nov. 3 in which he was critically hurt.

Prosecutors say Mill Creek attorney William R. Joice, who opposed Jung in a civil case in Snohomish County, opened fire as Jung pulled his Lexus into the office parking lot.

Joice is being held on a charge of first-degree attempted murder.

Jung was the sole support for his wife and two boys, ages 12 and 9, according to his law firm's Web site.

A support fund has been set up at U.S. Bank to help Jung's family and medical costs. Get more details.

Information about Monday night's fund-raiser is available at the Web site of Moschetto & Koplin.
