I-1183 constitutionality hearing set for March 5

SEATTLE —

A judge Wednesday declined to issue an injunction stopping Washington’s Initiative 1183, which would privatize the state’s liquor industry, from taking effect. The Cowlitz County Judge set a constitutionality hearing on the matter for March 5.

Small retailers are challenging I-1183 saying it unconstitutionally violates  a rule that initiatives must only address a single issue.
