Laser From Eastside Pointed At Plane

SEATTLE —

Police are trying to find the person who pointed a laser at a plane headed to Sea-Tac Airport late Thursday night.

Pilots from a Hawaiian Airline flight reported the green light was coming from northeast of the 520 Floating Bridge in the Bellevue-Kirkland area at about 9:50 p.m. The plane was at 4,000 feet.

The plane landed safely.

Lasers can disorient or even temporarily blind pilots.
