Level 3 Sex Offender Re-Arrested

THURSTON COUNTY, Wash. —

A violent Level 3 sex offender has been arrested again in Thurston County for allegedly molesting an 8-year-old girl.

Jeffery Gisselberg has a history of abducting and raping teenage girls. Gisselberg has been registered in Mason County since his release in 1994.

Gisselberg is accused of molesting an 8-year-old girl he met through friends at a square-dancing hall near Olympia.

Gisselberg has been spending time at the Lac-A-Do Square-dancing hall making friends with families with children, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Reported.

"I know at the dance hall, he's sometimes referred to as the pied piper of the children, cause the children are always flocking around him," said the mother of the alleged victim.

Police in Thurston County are worried there may be more victims.

“He seemed like the kind of guy who would be a protector of children,” said the girl’s mother.
