Clinton Draws Big Crowds

ISSAQUAH, Wash. —

Bill Clinton arrived at Costco in Issaquah Wednesday to a crowd of over 1,000 people, many of whom lined up overnight for the former president to sign copies of his book.

The former president shook hands and said "Bless you" as he sat down to sign copies of his memoir.

He sat at a desk stacked with copies of his book and surrounded by pallets of ceiling fans, vacuum makers and coffee makers.

Many of the people in line said they were taking advantage of the opportunity to see an admired historic figure. Others said they expect to re-sell the signed book for a profit. Some people camped out overnight.

Clinton promised to sign 1,500 copies of "My Life".

He's also scheduled to do a signing at Elliott Bay Book Store in downtown Seattle tonight at 8 p.m.
