SEATTLE —
Organizers expected the biggest crowds at the noon rally at the Capitol steps in Olympia and a 5:30 p.m. rally in Westlake Park in Seattle.
KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Richard Thompson said an Internet movement is urging people who dislike Tea Party to infiltrate the group, pretending to be Tea Party members to try to discredit the group by making outrageous statements in front of news cameras.
Thompson said message has spread to several anarchist Web sites as well.
As a result, the State Patrol is at the Capitol in Olympia.
Other Tea Party rallies are scheduled in Bellevue, Everett, Mount Vernon, Bellingham, Okanogan, Moses Lake, Richland, Prosser and Walla Walla.
