SEATTLE, Wash. —
Love is in the air and perhaps in the water tomorrow as biologists from the Seattle Aquarium bring together one male and one female giant Pacific octopus for a blind date.
Aquarium biologists will host the Valentine's Day event - complete with decorative hearts, roses and Barry White songs blaring over the speakers - beginning at noon.
The Octopus Blind Date is in advance of the Aquarium's Octopus Week (February 18th-26th) which kicks off Saturday with a live octopus release, feedings and a host of kid's events.
