Man Accused Of Hit-And-Run Appears In Court

SEATTLE —

Timothy Lee Herbert, accused of hitting and killing 3-year-old Alex Hubbard after he wandered from his home earlier this month, faced a judge Thursday afternoon.

Alex Hubbard’s family faced an emotional day in court when Herbert was arraigned and his bail was cut from $100,000 to $50,000.

Herbert admitted to having a couple of drinks before the crash but said he wasn’t drunk, and was going to turn himself in when police arrived at his home.
