ISSAQUAH, Wash. —
Issaquah police arrested a man on Wednesday in connection with the attempted luring of an 11-year-old child.
The incident happened on Tuesday afternoon, when the child was walking alone in the 300 block of First Place Northwest, police said.
The man behind the wheel of a white van tried to persuade the child to get into the vehicle, the child told police.
The parents drove the child through the area and found a van matching the description parked in a nearby apartment complex lot, police said.
Police arrested a 52-year-old Issaquah man and are holding him for investigation of child luring.
