Man Attacked With Baseball Bat In Downtown Seattle

A man walking near First and Pike streets early Thursday was attacked by three men who hit him with a baseball bat, Seattle police said.

The man told Seattle police he was walking back to his hotel at 2:30 a.m. when three men attacked him. One man hit him with a baseball bat while others took his wallet.

When one assailant tried to take the victim's cell phone, the victim was able to kick that man in the face.

The men fled. A passer-by saw the victim and called police.

The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center.
