Man critically burned in Seattle house fire

A man is in critical condition at Harborview Medical Center after he was found inside a burning house.

               The house fire on South Graham Street near Martin Luther King Jr. Way was reported shortly after 4:30 a.m. on Monday.

               The one-story home is abandoned, and fire crews said it started with a mattress in the basement.

               Crews said it appears the 35-year-old man, who suffered second- and third-degree burns, was a transient.

               Crews were able to put out the fire quickly.
