SEATTLE, Wash. —
Seattle police are investigating a deadly shooting outside a gas station in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood.
Police said they received a 911 call around 2:30 a.m. from a security guard reporting what sounded like three gunshots in the area.
When police first arrived they were unable to find anything, but then officers heard the sound of a revving engine at a gas station at James Street and Terry Avenue.
When they went to investigate, they found a man dead behind the wheel of a pickup truck.
He had a gunshot wound to his head and his foot was stuck on the accelerator.
Family members identified the victim as 56-year-old Glennis Parker.
Parkers twin sister Annie said her brother is a longshoreman and was just getting off of work when he stopped at the store to get some gas.
I don't know what happened. You know I get the call this morning that my brother he got killed, got shot and killed, said Annie Parker.
He was a good man, he was a Christian. He worked hard, he was married, he loved his children, he loved his family, said Parkers niece Audrey Smith.
Officers are still searching for the gunman and said the shooting wasnt random.
