Man hit in leg in Greenwood shooting

SEATTLE —

A 23-year-old man was hit in a Greenwood shooting on Sunday afternoon, according to the Seattle Police Department.

 

The man was at North 86th Street and Fremont Avenue North near Greenwood Park.

 

According to the Seattle Fire Department, when medics arrived, they found the man with a single gunshot wound over his right kneecap. The man was transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.

 

The man was uncooperative and would not provide officers with information about the incident, police said.

 

At this time, the location of the shooting is unknown.
