Man hurt in Edgewood rollover crash



EDGEWOOD, Wash. —

A man was injured Sunday morning in a rollover collision in Edgewood, according to East Pierce firefighters.

 

Fire crews first responded to a report of a vehicle crash after 7 a.m. in the 1000 block of 120th Avenue East.

 

Dispatched units were then told that a man was hurt in a collision in the 800 block of 122nd Avenue East.

 

Investigators determined that the man was one of possibly four people inside a truck that rolled over.

 

Medics treated the victim at the scene and he was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup.

 

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office said two people were seen fleeing the area on foot, but it is unknown if they were injured.

 

According to East Pierce firefighters, drugs and/or alcohol may have been involved.

 

The Pierce County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the cause of the crash.
