Man Hurt In Queen Anne Fire



SEATTLE, Wash. —

One man was hurt in an apartment fire on Queen Anne hill Saturday morning.

A fire department spokeswoman said that the fire broke out at an apartment complex at 23 West Galer Street around 4:30 a.m.

Firefighters found heavy smoke coming from a room on the third floor, the fire department said.

All occupants evacuated safely, except for one man. He was taken to Harborview Medical Center for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
