FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —
Police arrested a man in connection with the death of a 34-year-old SeaTac man who was killed following a fight that began inside a Federal Way bar.
Federal Way police said that at 2:17 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to a report of a fight between seven or eight men inside Café Arizona at 2012 S. 320th Street.
Security at the bar told the men to leave.
Once outside, two men ran eastbound away from the café in an attempt to get away from the attackers. They were followed by two other men who caught up to them slightly north of a Denny's and continued fighting.
During the second fight, a 34-year-old man was stabbed and received a serious head injury, possibly from being struck by the attackers’ vehicle, police said.
The two suspects then fled eastbound from the scene in a green Ford Mustang. South King County Fire and Rescue medics treated the seriously injured man, but he was pronounced dead at 2:44 a.m.
Federal Way detectives were looking for the suspects’ car, described as a green 2001 Ford Mustang with Washington license plate AHV4931.
According to the Federal Way Police Department, officers and detectives arrested Jorge A. Santos-Rocha outside of an apartment in Kent on Saturday.
The suspects’ vehicle was recovered.
Santos-Rocha was booked in the King County Jail on charges of second-degree murder, and official charges to follow will be done by the King County Prosecutor’s Office.
The second man involved in the incident is still at large and an investigation continues.
Anyone that may know the whereabouts of the man, details about the slaying or fight is asked to call 911 or contact Detective KC Krusey at 253-835-6895 or Kristopher.Krusey@cityoffederalway.com.
