Man Killed In Police Shooting Identified

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE, Wash. —

The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office has identified a man who was fatally shot -- apparently by a police officer -- as 18-year-old Richard Adam Pastore-Felix of Mountlake Terrace.

The medical examiner's office said Thursday that Pastore-Felix died of a gunshot wound to the head.

Prosecutors will determine if the Mountlake Terrace police officer who fired his weapon was justified. The officer has been placed on administrative leave.

Pastore-Felix was found dead in a home early Wednesday after an officer fired his weapon at an armed man in the window. Police had responded to a report of shots fired in a house.
