Seattle police say a man has been seriously wounded in a shooting in the city's Beacon Hill neighborhood.
Detective Jeff Kappel said a 38-year-old man was shot at about 5:30 p.m. Monday when he was confronted in front of his house by another man. After shooting the victim several times, the suspect got into a small black car being driven by someone else and fled. Police are looking for the gunman.
Kappel says the victim has been taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
