Man Stabbed In Downtown Seattle; Suspect At Large



SEATTLE —

A man in his 40s was stabbed in downtown Seattle Friday evening, the Seattle Police Department said. The man who is believed to have stabbed him is at large, Seattle police said.

The attacker is described as a black male, 35-40 years old and wearing a tan puffy jacket with black sleeves, Seattle police said on their blog. Anyone who may know anything about the victim or the stabbing is asked to call 911 or the Seattle police immediately, Seattle police said.

The victim was stabbed in the abdomen and was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Seattle police said.

The stabbing took place in the 300 block of 2nd Avenue Extension South, Seattle police said.
