SEATTLE —

A man attempted to rob another man leaving his vehicle Friday afternoon in a private lot in the 1200 block of South King Street, according to the Seattle Police Department. The suspect is still at large.

The suspect approached the man and pushed him back into his car, police said.  The suspect attempted to take the man’s watch and gold bracelet, but the man pushed the suspect away.

Seattle police said the suspect showed a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

According to police, a man walked by the scene and the suspected pointed the gun at him. The suspect then fled the scene.

Police said the suspect was last seen traveling southbound on 10th Avenue South from South Weller Street.

Police described the suspect as a black man, 18-20 years old, 5-feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build, wearing a dark-hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.

Anyone with information about the incident or suspect is asked to call 911 or the Seattle Police Department.
