Man Wanted For Robbing Store With Girl In Tow

ELLENSBURG, Wash. —

Accompanied by a young girl, a man robbed a mini mart West of Ellensburg early Tuesday morning.

At about 3 a.m., the man entered the AM/PM Mini Mart off Interstate 90 at exit 101 with a young girl , said Kittitas County Undersheriff Clayton Myers.

He approached the counter, drew a handgun and demanded the money from the register, Myers said. The clerk complied and the man and child left heading east on I-90 in a light-color 4-door passenger car.

The robber is an adult white male in his late 30s to early 40s, 5 feet 10 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, dark hair with a neatly trimmed beard and mustache, about 185 to 195 lbs., eye glasses, dark-colored pea coat, blue jeans and white athletic shoes.

A young girl was with him, approximately 9-years-old, dark collar-length hair, wearing a pink coat and she may have the first name of Meadow.

Anyone with information about the identity of the robber or child should call the Kittitas County Sheriff’s Office at 509-925-8534.
