Man With Alzheimer's Disease Missing

FEDERAL WAY, Wash. —

A man with serious medical problems, including Alzheimer's disease, has been missing since Thursday afternoon, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News Reported.

Ronald Schoeline, 74, disappeared from his Federal Way home around 2 p.m. Thursday.

Searchers looked for Schoeline into Thursday night.

"He is not very mobile. He has a limp, rather pronounced from what they describe,” said Search and Rescue Explorer Nick Menyhard.

Schoeline was wearing a black leather jacket, khaki pants and a white T-shirt with "Texas" on it.

Searchers want to find the man as soon as possible because they fear he may get hypothermia.

"Western Washington is a prime hypothermia area, and if he's not mobile, he's down, and the ground is cold during this period of time," said Menyhard.
