MEDINA, Wash. —
A Medina police officer accused of having sex with a woman he pulled over and arranging to have charges against her dismissed was charged with official misconduct.
Court documents said Officer Ismael Gaston Garcia Ramirez pulled the woman over near Hunt's point last November for driving on a suspended license.
Prosecutors said the officer found marijuana in the woman's car and then the two started flirting.
They arranged to meet later and had sex. The officer promised to have charges against the woman dismissed, documents said.
The woman said the sex was not consensual.
