Men Accused Of Central District Shooting

SEATTLE —

Police arrested two men in connection with a shooting in Seattle’s Central District Sunday night, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

The men were arrested at 18th and East Jefferson streets after officers on patrol heard a gunshot and saw a car leaving the area.

Police pulled over a car with two men inside and took them into custody.

A weapon was recovered and shell casings were found on the ground.

Authorities said it was the third report of gunfire in the area Sunday night.

Detectives from the gang violence unit said they are trying to discover who the target of the shooting was and if the other shootings were related.

There were no injuries.
