Missing Prized Stallion Found At Canada Stable

BELLINGHAM, Wash. —

A jumping stallion worth several million dollars that was reported stolen earlier this month by his trainer has been found in Canada, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News.

The 12-year-old prized stallion, named Capone, disappeared on May 18 from his stall in a barn in Custer, just south of the Canada border.

Capone's trainer, Douglas Spink, said Corrine Super, of Chilliwack, B.C., confirmed to a Whatcom County sheriff's deputy that the horse was in her care.

Deputy Jeff Parks said Super said she has claim over the horse.

Capone's owners have filed a court order in B.C. for the horse's return.
