Mother Makes Plea To Help Find Missing Daughter

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. —

The mother of a missing University Place teenager is making a plea for the public's help in finding her daughter, who disappeared on June 13.

"My gut, as a mother, is that there's something seriously, seriously wrong and she can't get to a phone to call us," said Anne Webster, whose 17-year-old daughter Elizabeth failed to arrive at Curtis High School.

A witness reported seeing Webster get on a city bus with a man on the day she disappeared.

Anne Webster said Elizabeth is trusting and vulnerable, and she fears whoever the girl is with is taking advantage of her in some way.

She said Elizabeth left behind her cell phone and medications to prevent seizures.

Elizabeth Webster is described as a white female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 150 pounds, with blue eyes and short brown hair. She was last seen wearing a bright green sweatshirt and blue jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to call 253-591-5959, a $1,000 reward is offered for information leading to the arrest and charges filed for the person in this case.
